Futile Attempt originally formed in 1998 in Europe, writing and recording and performing music off and on until 2002. Forming and reforming, developing their own sound along the way. Down to a mere two members, Futile Attempt has finally emerged in 2006 with an intense sound, style and image. Songs consisting of apathy, remorse and disgust for a world that has lost its way. This group rose out of the shadows as one of the leading underground industrial bands with a flavor of real goth. Futile Attempt has toured the world, sharing the stage with many top acts such as Rob Zombie, Rammstein, Ministry, Shadowsfall, Nightwish, and many others.

The group relocated to Hollywood to "bring the evil" to the United States. The two members of Futile Attempt comprise of Dynamo on lead vocals and guitar, accompanied by Snizz on bass and percussion. Both share an incredible talent on synthesizers and effects. The group has recently moved into the direction of providing music for movie soundtracks and cutting edge video games.

In 2007, Futile Attempt released their latest batch of tracks, that has shook the industrial scene by it's very foundation! Viral mp3 downloads have spread on the web with such titles as The Dirge, Bring The Evil, Out Of The Mouth Of Rage, Scream My Name, and Ready For War. This incredible talented act has found fans across the world, and treated them to their debut music video to the hit single Out Of The Mouth Of Rage. Dyanamo and Snizz are currently in the studo working on more gothic metal for blood starved fans!

Futile Attempt's single Ascension of the Antichrist was featured on the 2012 compilation album release Soundtrack to the End Times.
