Salva Me
l
Salva
Me should be listed in
the Wikipedia, as the
definition for pop music in the 21st century. That is exactly what this
group from the midwest brings to life with their unique sound. Salva Me originally featured the
lovely Stephanie
Castillo on lead
vocals, and the
cutting edge bass/songwriter
and lyricist Jesse Korleski, and Mike Christiansen
on drums. Nicole Steed brings
on that dreamy sound on the keyboards. Recently, the group has begun to
catch on with fans, and the press alike: "...created a buzz
in a relatively
short span with its experimental mix of electronic, pop and jazz
styles"- Lawrence
Journal World, "...there is really no other band quite like
them.."- Rock River Times. Salva Me
has been winning over new fans on their incredible tours, and picking
up radio station airplay as well.
With the release of their 2005 CD The
Flavorlessness of Water, the
group gained attention from stations across the U.S. such as WLUM-FM/Milwaukee and in Canada
via CHUO-FM/Ottawa. The
project released the popular and mesmerizing
single Chemically
Infected.
New singles include online
favorites from the 2006 release; Me
Has No U, as well as cuts The
Machine, Dwell
and Mystery. Plus their debut music video Drive-Up.
Salva Me continues to create and
grow, in 2010 the group signed with DSN
Music to reissue their
international version of The
Flavorlessness of Water.
A new lineup
was assembled for Salva Me,
with fresh faces joining Korleski
such as Siobhan on vocals, Wes Curtis on keyboards, Tim Kirschenmann on sax & flute,
and percussionist Zach Davis.
Jesse and the gang are
back in the studio, and currently producing a
new album, while taking time to do gigs throughout the midwest. DSN Music recently released the
exclusive extended version of Salva Me's The Flavorness of Water: Special Editon
in 2010.
